Once the form is set, the gunite steel crew forms a rigid contoured grid of reinforcing steel that will serve as the backbone of your pool. it is set with rebar crossing over one another for added reinforcement. tie wires at the intersections tie the steel together. Block spacers under the steel hold the steel above the soil and aggregate so that the steel bars will be approximately in the middle of the gunite. Once the steel formation is complete, the town will be called for a steel inspection.
